Covid Policy

  • All staff fill in a return to work form and there will be daily staff temperature checks done.

  • Anti-Bacterial hand-wash is available at the front door and on every table for guests to use.

  • We have gone cashless – this is going to be a permanent change but makes extra sense now to minimise opportunities for the virus to move from staff to guests or from guests to staff.

  • Menus in the short term will be disposable.

  • We are asking guests to wear masks to and from the table – we will revise this policy as we move forward.  Please bring a mask with you.

  • There will be optional contact-less temperature checks at the front door for guests if they wish.

  • We have an increased cleaning policy for high-contact areas where staff and guests are likely to touch the structure of the building and furniture.

  • Tables won’t be laid until guests arrive and sit down.

  • The menu may be slightly reduced in size to allow for greater social distancing of chefs in the kitchen.

  • We are working on table spacing and anticipate some reduction in capacity but in any case our tables we already well spaced and unlike bars or pubs our guests tend to arrive, sit down and then remain seated until they leave or visit the lavatory.

  • No guests sit facing other guests unless they have arrived as part of the same group.
